MCT Summit Indonesia 2026 Brings the Community Together to Explore the Future of AI, Cloud, and Productivity

The MCT Summit Indonesia 2026 brought together Microsoft Certified Trainers (MCTs), technology professionals, and educators on 28–29 October 2026 under the theme “Empowering the Future of AI, Cloud, and Productivity.” Delivered in a hybrid format from Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) Campus Jakarta and through Microsoft Teams, the two-day event created a space for the community to exchange ideas, explore emerging technologies, and strengthen connections across the Microsoft training ecosystem.

The summit welcomed speakers and community contributors from Indonesia, Malaysia, and Hong Kong. Across keynote presentations, technical sessions, featured talks, and interactive activities, participants explored topics ranging from hybrid cloud AI infrastructure and AI-powered solutions with Microsoft Azure to MCT best practices and the changing role of AI in education, learning, and training.

Exploring AI, Cloud, and Global MCT Practices

The first day focused on innovation in AI and hybrid cloud, alongside perspectives from the wider MCT community. Aris Lesmana presented “Creating Hybrid Cloud AI Infrastructure for Teaching and Learning,” connecting emerging infrastructure approaches with learning and teaching scenarios. Featured sessions also brought international perspectives to the discussion, with Lim Keng Seong sharing MCT best practices from Malaysia and Ken Lin discussing community innovation and AI adoption in Hong Kong.

These sessions highlighted the value of sharing practical experiences across communities and geographies. They also provided opportunities for MCTs to consider how evolving technologies can support their work and help keep learning experiences relevant.

Building AI-Powered Learning Experiences

On the second day, the program turned to AI-powered solutions and the transformation of modern learning and training. Rohan Kapoor delivered the keynote, “The Future of MCT in the AI Era,” setting the context for discussions about the evolving role of trainers. Technical sessions included “Building AI-Powered Solutions with Microsoft Azure,” presented by Aprizon, and “Learning in the Age of AI,” presented by Irving Hutagalung.

The afternoon continued with Ridi Ferdiana’s workshop, “The Role of AI in Modern Learning & Training Ecosystems.” The program concluded with a community sharing and future collaboration planning session, giving participants time to exchange perspectives and discuss ways to continue working together.

Connecting the MCT Community

According to the event report, the summit recorded 104 attendees on Day 1 and 148 attendees on Day 2 across onsite and online participation. Beyond the sessions, the hybrid format supported networking and knowledge exchange among participants, speakers, and community contributors.

By bringing together local and international voices, MCT Summit Indonesia 2026 reinforced the importance of an active professional community, one that learns from shared experiences, adapts to technological change, and creates opportunities for future collaboration.
